| You lost some of the context by replying directly to my statement. red300zxtt claimed that by popping the clutch, you would automatically break the tires loose, thus nullifying the shock. My contention is that popping the clutch on well prepared slicks is the reason for the shock as they do not always readily spin. There is a reason zboost continues to snap these axles when ZHound does not: zboost pops the clutch, the slicks grab and the axles snap; ZHound slips the clutch and has no problems with axles. I agree, if the slicks spin, there is no - or much less - shock. zboost pops the clutch, and the slicks grab. red300zxtt's contention that popping the clutch will fix his problem is completely ridiculous because the slicks aren't spinning no matter how viciously zboost launches.
